Ignorance is a poison so sweet that we drool
apathy, a drug that seeps from selfish minds
pouring off our tongues
bleeding through my bad dreams
The killer is that blood-sucking leech
hemorrhaging us all to death
rotting to decay,
I shiver at the chill of those long dead
We are living beneath sterile expectations
here lies man, raised harmless and held in check
that system wears each one of our faces

you can't fathom my disgust
